¡Hola! My name is Asela and I’m a junior at Davidson College majoring in Hispanic Studies and on the Pre-med track. This will be my second year teaching Spanish at Davidson K-8 and I’m excited for another great year! This past summer I worked at a summer camp as a camp counselor and I volunteered at an Open Door Clinic that provides care to residents of Alamance County, NC. At this clinic, I served as a Spanish interpreter and translator, had the opportunity to shadow various providers, and was a scribe. I then spent a month in Spain traveling with friends and visiting family!
