I love to spend time with my friends and family, discover new music artists, and read! I’m a junior at Davidson College and over the summer I was fortunate enough to spend 5 weeks studying abroad in Spain with the Davidson in Cádiz program. Traveling to Spain was something that I thoroughly enjoyed–I had wanted to go to Barcelona since I watched the Cheetah Girls 2 way back when so it was awesome being able to make my dream of strutting down Barcelona streets a reality. I am a member of Turner House, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and I am a Bonner Scholar. As a Bonner Scholar, I volunteer at the Davidson College Presbyterian Church preschool in a class of 4 and 5-year-olds. I enjoy working with kids and always look to take my knowledge of Spanish beyond the college classroom–I’m excited to be able to do both things through SiDES for the 2nd year in a row! Fun Fact: I can tap dance.
